Gentlemen,

I forward, herewith schedule of payments made in Australia on account of Family Remittances and expenditure in connection with the Evacuation of Women and Children from Hong Kong.

The Australian Government have forwarded all vouchers to Hong Kong for certification and I have to request that you will arrange to pay to the Official Secretary, Commonwealth of Australia, London, the equivalent in Sterling of the sum of Australian Currency £54,234.6.10a. covering accounts for November, December, January, February and March.

Australian £49,332.2.10d. is a direct charge against the funds of this Colony and the sum of Australia £4,902.4.0d. is a charge to be met by the Imperial Government in connection with the Evacuation of Women and children from Hong Kong.
